Welcome, and thank you for visiting Practical Edge AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Practical Edge AI, LLC ("Practical Edge AI," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of our website at practicaledge.ai, our forms and tools, our online courses, and any other content or services we provide (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services or to purchase a course. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. What we provide

The Services may include our website and its content, free tools and resources (such as our AI ideas generator), our consulting and automation services, and paid online courses. We may add, change, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

3. AI-generated content and its limitations

Our tools, resources, and services use artificial intelligence, including large language models. This section is important, so please read it carefully.

AI systems can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or entirely fabricated, a behavior sometimes called "hallucination." Any output generated by AI through our Services, including the personalized ideas we send you and any AI-assisted material in our services or courses, is provided for general informational purposes only, on an "as is" basis, and without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for independently reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it or acting on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practical Edge AI is not liable for any errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or hallucinations in AI-generated content, or for any decision you make or action you take based on that content. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated information to our AI tools.

4. No professional advice

Our website, tools, and courses are educational and informational only. They do not constitute legal, financial, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your specific situation. Using the Services does not create a consultant, advisory, or fiduciary relationship. Any business decision you make is your own responsibility.

5. Courses and digital products

Enrollment and access. When you purchase a course, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for your own individual use.

Payment. Course purchases are processed through our course platform, Thinkific, and its payment processor. By enrolling, you also agree to any applicable terms of those providers.

Refund policy. We want you to be confident in your purchase. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have completed no more than the first 2 modules of the course. Once you have completed more than the first 2 modules, or once 14 days have passed since purchase, all sales are final and no refund will be available. Acceptable use of course content. The course content is for your personal use only. You may not share your login, record, download (except where a download is expressly offered), copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display the course content, in whole or in part. Doing so may result in loss of access without refund.

6. Consulting and services engagements

Any actual consulting, automation, or implementation engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by you and Practical Edge AI. These Terms, and any description of services on our website, do not by themselves create an engagement, a proposal, or a binding commitment to perform work. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a signed engagement agreement, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

7. Intellectual property

All content in the Services, including the website, course materials, videos, reference materials, text, graphics, logos, and our frameworks and methodologies (including the 6P Check), is owned by Practical Edge AI or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited license to access and view this content for your own personal or internal business use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any of it without our prior written permission. "Practical Edge AI" and our logo are our marks and may not be used without permission.

8. Your responsibilities

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• use them for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems
• copy, scrape, or harvest content or data except as expressly allowed
• misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization
• upload anything harmful, infringing, or unlawful

9. Third-party services and links

The Services rely on and may link to third-party platforms and websites, such as Thinkific, Google, and the AI and automation tools we use. We do not control those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or practices.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any content or output will be accurate or reliable. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practical Edge AI and its owners, members, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or any AI-generated content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Practical Edge AI and its owners, members, and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
